Over 200 grandparents visited the school to see their grandchildren’s classrooms and hear what they had been studying.
To add an extra level on fun to the day, a competition was held to see which grandparents had traveled the longest kilometers, and which grandparents had spent the most amount of hours travelling.
The longest distance traveled went to Ian Phillips’ grandmother who traveled from Newtown, America to spend the day with Ian.
The longest amount of hours spent traveling was given to Graham, the grandfather of Hamish, Miranda and Tessa.
Graham got off the plane on Tuesday and traveled from London.
