The temperature in Bowral reached a top of 29 on Thursday while Moss Vale was expected to reach a top of 30 degrees.
Friday’s temperatures will be slightly cooler with the Bureau of Meterology predicting a top of 28 degrees in Bowral and Moss Vale.
On Monday, temperatures reached 28.8 degrees in Bowral, well above the April average temperature of 19.5 degrees.
The weekend is set to cool down with top temperatures of 22 degrees.
Across the Wingecarribee there is back-burning occurring, which has pushed smoke into some areas. The RFS has reminded residents to save 000 calls for an emergency or unattended fire.
