About 45 people shared a barbecue lunch and Christmas pudding.
Reverend Michael Earl said the lunch was open to all members of the community, regardless of religious beliefs.
“It’s about sharing food, fellowship and love,” Reverend Earl said.
“Some are members of the church, and some are members of the community.
“Some people are battling, some are just lonely. So they come in and they have a conversation.”
The church will host its next lunch at 12.30pm on Wednesday, January 31.
The doors will open at 12pm.
The lunches run weekly, and attract about 30 people each week. Bowral Uniting Church is located at the corner of Bendooley and Boolwey Streets, Bowral.
