Over two days – Saturday, November 25 and Friday, December 1 – the pre-loved designer goods sale was held at the Henrietta Rose Room on Bendooley Street.
Second-hand designer homewares and clothing items from brands including Armani, Oroton, Dolce and Gabana, Stella McCartney, Simona, and Lanvin were sold in a bid to raise funds for the White Ribbon Foundation, which promotes the elimination of violence against women.
The first event was held on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, in support of women in the community suffering abuse.
Event organiser Barbara Lawson said she was thrilled with the result.
“We are very happy and excited about this amount… the result of hard work by a dedicated group of locals,” she said.
“We’re now on a roll for 2019… where we feel bound to pass our goal from previous year.”
