Some have not been taught good manners.
Or, is it that they are too choosy, snobbish, prejudice or discriminate as to who is going to be the beneficiary of their services.
Why do you not reply to the good old-fashioned letters which ask for your expertise.
One tree care person has the habit of giving a written quote and an approximate time, but alas they never show up.
Why do these people advertise in the paper and the Yellow Pages?
Please can I get my trees pruned?
I do not have this new technology whith which to communicate.

Is ‘drab’ architecture taking over?
I fear for the future architectural heritage of the Highlands, with what seems to be a rash of quite uninspiring, even ugly, new buildings springing up.
Some examples: Moss Vale swimming centre, Southern Medical Centre in Moss Vale, the new police station in Moss Vale, the medical centre at the Bessemer Street corner in Mittagong, and now the newly unveiled pre-school building in Bundanoon with no less than six ugly air-conditioning units adorning the wall facing Ellsmore Road.
Some of these buildings even seem to have been designed by the same architect, using the same plain brown bricks.
Drab plainness seems to be slowly overtaking the attractive townscapes we once had.
