Saturday is the biggest social day on Goulburn's spring racing carnival. With Melbourne Cup Day a work day this is an opportunity for ladies to dress to impress and have a great day out enjoying the racing carnival atmosphere.

On Saturday, marquees, umbrella seats and tables are nearly all booked. If you missed one of the premium spots bring a picnic blanket and stake your claim on a patch of grass to soaking up the atmosphere. Under 18s are catered for too, with the mocktails and cupcakes in the Winning Post marquee.
Fashions on the Field is sure to attract some fine frocks, fascinators or hats, with ladies hoping to win some of the great prizes.
There will be various sections for the young to the young at heart and for the most appealing millinery. This year's NJB Racing Fashions on the Fields is hosted by Thoroughbred Events Australia.
It is also an opportunity to meet the young trainer of Territorial, which won the Graeme Spackman Memorial Cup on Sunday. Natasha (Tash) Burleigh is looking forward to a racing day off to meet some of the ladies and view the fashions.
Patrons will have a wide choice of food available from the racecourse caterers. Money raised during the event goes to local women's health services. Gates open at 10am racing starts about 11am.
