This Saturday, September 16, it will be streamed from Sir Donald Bradman’s childhood home in Bowral.
Weekend breakfast announcer, Russell Torrance, his wife Lauren and their dog Wolfy, have taken the show overland from Darwin to Sydney, “to find out more about the music and stories of regional Australia”.
So far, they have broadcast from Katherine, Alice Springs, Coober Pedy, Port Pirie and the Clare Valley.
This weekend’s show will be co-presented by Greta Bradman, Don’s granddaughter, who is another ABC weekend presenter. Her dad, Don’s son John, will also be there to talk about the house and the Bradman legacy in the Highlands. You can tune in from 8am.
