►Highlands CrossFitter Ricky Garard has finished third at the World CrossFit Games

Garard was the first Australian male to finish in the top three at the world event since its inception 11 years ago. 

► The impacts of mental illness on tertiary education will be explored at a forum this month.

The National Disability Coordination Officer program along with TAFE NSW will host a forum in Moss Vale on August 31.

Students from Bowral High School will be learning traditional Aboriginal languages as part of a program run at the Aboriginal Centre in Mittagong.

Coach Matt Griffiths said it was a flat game for the team, with a loss against the Shellharbour Swans on Sunday, August 6.

TRAFFIC:  The Illawarra Highway on Macquarrie Pass will shut weekly – between 6am on Monday and 3pm on Friday – from July 24 until August 11, weather permitting.
