The NSW Government has called for public feedback on improving the efforts to prevent and respond to sexual assault and sexual violence in NSW.
Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Pru Goward said feedback was vital.
“The NSW Government’s Sexual Assault Strategy will focus on prevention, education, and support for survivors of sexual assault, and improving accountability for perpetrators,” said said.
“I would especially urge victim-survivors to share their views with us.”
Information gathered from participant responses will be incorporated into the development of the Strategy, released in November 2017.
Submissions are open until Friday, August 4 at 5pm. The survey can be accessed here:https://www.women.nsw.gov.au/violence_prevention/nsw-sexual-assault-strategy/nsw-sexual-assault-strategy-public-consultation-survey
