Performing on stage at Clubbe Hall, the Gib Gate Preschool, Kindergarten, Year One and Year Two students delighted audiences with their acting, singing and dancing skills.
From four years of age Gib Gate students perform on stage annually as part of Junior and Senior Musical productions, ensuring that by Year Six they have enjoyed eight years in the limelight.
Head of Gib Gate, Sally Robson said these musical productions were an opportunity for students to develop their creativity and confidence.
“We believe every child should have the opportunity to be part of a production, appearing on stage in front of real audiences,” she said.
“It’s amazing to watch our youngest students confidently taking part in this process, working hard individually and collectively, creating a magical experience for the audience and wonderful memories for themselves and their peers.”
The next school production will be in Term 3.
Students from Years 3-6 will take part the senior musical production of C.S. Lewis’s classic children’s story, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.
