An interruption of electric supply to a transmission sub-station caused a blackout in the Highlands.
At 12.20pm, the power was disrupted for about five minutes at the Fairfax Lane, Moss Vale, sub-station.
An Endeavour Energy spokeman said less than 20,000 people were affected.
An investigation is underway into the cause of the power outage.
May 19, 12.50pm:
The cause of a power outage affecting the Highlands is currently unknown.
Power went down at about 12.30pm, with Bowral, Moss Vale and Mittagong among the towns affected.
