Huw Kingston shares story of Mediterranean travel

Learn more about what Huw Kingston’s 12-month trip around the Mediterranean was really like.

Huw will talk about his recently released book Mediterranean- a year around a charmed and troubled sea on March 30.

From April 2014-2015 Huw circumnavigated the Mediterranean by kayak, foot, rowboat and bike from Gallipoli and back.

It was a journey that traversed 17 countries and covered 13,000km.

He is an ambassador for Save the Children and has won several awards including the Australian Geographic Spirit of Adventure Award and was named one of Time Magazine’s 25 Worldwide Responsibility Pioneers.

Huw will speak at Centennial Vineyards from 6.30pm.

Tickets will cost $45 per person which include a one course meal and a glass of wine. Tickets are available from The Bookshop Bowral.
