This year the Lions will be raising money for an exciting project which has already attracted $4 million dollars from Lions Clubs International, which will assist in the prevention and improve cancer treatments in the future.
Bowral Lions Club will be holding its major fundraiser for this exciting research with their Lions Biggest Barbecue on April 22 at Bunnings, where more details about the Lions Kids Cancer Genome project will be available.
The Lions hope to raise more than $1500 on the day.
Anyone who would like to help out and become a ‘ friend’ of the Bowral Lions Club on the day, contact Roger on 0411 038 137 for more information.
Since 1996 Lions Clubs in Australia have shown outstanding commitment contributing more than five million dollars to childhood cancer research.
