The Vita Foundation campaign for charity Act for Kids will fund art therapy for children trying to erase their own monsters.
Children undergoing the therapy created the drawings for the crayons’ designs.
Act for Kids CEO Neil Carrington said the vulnerable children would receive specialist therapy and treatment
“[This will enable] them to rebuild their lives after experiencing their own enormous physical and mental challenges,” he said.
The art therapy classes help open dialogue around the abuse or neglect children have suffered, with drawing helping children to open up about their experiences and aiding in their recovery.
The crayons will be available throughout March at the Mittagong Telstra Store.
