Cartoonist Cathy Wilcox visit at Henrietta Rose Room, Bowral

Most people have an opinion on politics, but whether they choose to share it or not is another story.

For years, Cathy Wilcox has enjoyed a successful career sharing critiques of the Australian political scene with cartoons printed in the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.

She has won two Walkley Awards and national prizes for her work, and has also won the Australian Children’s Book Council ‘Picture Book of the Year’ award twice.

The talented cartoonist has been churning them out near daily since 1989, and has covered almost every topic one could care to imagine.

Cathy will speak to interested Highlanders at the Henrietta Rose Room in Bowral on Tuesday, March 21 as part of Friends of the Wingecarribee Libraries (FOWL) author talk events.

Morning tea will follow the talk.

Admission is $10 for FOWL members, and $15 for non-members, payable by correct cash or cheque at Wingecarribee Libraries branches.

Friends of the Wingecarribee Libraries (FOWL) will host political cartoonist Cathy Wilcox in Bowral on March 21.
