Plenty of pats and cuddles were given at a pet dating event in Mittagong.
Five cats are currently available for adoption from Petbarn Mittagong through the RSPCA.
Golden Oldies’ Gina Fallon was also present with profiles of cats and dogs for adoption.
“All these babies need to find homes, we have 28 animals in foster care at the moment,” she said.
“We do this every year with Petbarn, and we’ve had five adoption enquiries today.”
Petbarn Mittagong store manager Sean McKinley said he hoped all the animals would find their forever homes.
“It is a commitment to own a pet, but we hope we can find all our animals loving homes,” he said.
The five cats available for adoption at Petbarn Mittagong are Salem, Pickles, Flash, Freda and Caramello.
The Pet Dating event was held February 11 from 11.00am to 3.00pm at the Petbarn Mittagong, Highlands Homemaker Centre, 2015 Old Hume Highway.
