A Roads and Maritime Services spokesman said the lights would continue to be monitored, although no permanent faults were found.
A maintenance crew was sent to reset the traffic lights at the intersection in Bowral on November 23 to correct a fault that was causing the lights to flash yellow.
The lights were affected again in early December.
Bowral Police received a call from the public on December 5 that the intersection traffic lights were flashing yellow.
Officers were preparing to direct traffic at the intersection when the lights began to function again.
An RMS spokesman said the interruption was only very brief, and the lights had corrected themselves.
He said there was no evidence that the lights would need to be reset again.
