Lunch 'n' Learn at Wirrimbirra

Learn about the Australian bush and the animals who live there at Wirrimbirra Sanctuary.

The first Lunch ‘n’ Learn session will focus on the unique platypus, including a look at a platypus burrow and castings of body parts.

The educational experience will be led by Dr Tom Grant, who has more than 30 years of researching this nocturnal creature.

A beef and lamb smorgasbord will be provided. Bookings are essential, so call 4684 1112 or email

The Lunch ‘n’ Learn session will be held January 28 from 12.00pm, and costs $25 per person, or $12 per child under the age of 12.

If you wish to stay, a Walkabout After Dark will also take place from 6.30pm through the sanctuary gardens.

Wirrimbirra Sanctuary is located at 3105 Remembrance Drive, Bargo:
