He knows there is more than one way to reach this goal.
With a score of 60.4, he didn’t receive the marks he needed to enter his chosen degree, but he has already figured out how to continue travelling down his desired career path.
“I’m happy it’s finished, it’s one of the nicest feelings,” he said.
Joey plans to attend TAFE next year to complete a Certificate IV Tertiary Preparation Program.
“I’ll then apply to study biomedical engineering at the University of Wollongong or Charles Sturt University,” he said.
“I really enjoy computer science, and I ultimately want to end up making prosthetic limbs, as I find them really interesting.”
