Ms Chapman previously lived in Sydney and moved to the Southern Highlands late last year.
"My husband and I have joined a church group since moving here and that has really helped us to settle in and get to know the people in the community."
Ms Chapman is providing the choreography for the upcoming school musical, The Boy From Oz.
"I've choreographed four dances for a group of 18 students across Years 8 to 12."
There are around 100 students involved in the entire production, as well as all of Year 7 which is in the choir for the production.
"There are students with a varied range of experience with dance in all of my classes."
"It's good to be able to offer dance - it really gets students to interact with another way of being creative, and gets them to be active too."
Ms Chapman said she was really enjoying her time at Chevalier College.
"Everybody is really welcoming and lovely."
