Throsby MP Stephen Jones was on hand to present staff and students with a cheque for $5965.
"It was a great little project," he said.
"The thing that stuck out to me was it was the only application I received that was going to include a commemoration of nurses and women in World War I and their sacrifices within it."
The memorial garden will be built on the school grounds to commemorate the centenary of the ANZACs in 2015.
