Large schools such as Bowral High have more than 1000 students who each do about six subjects with different teachers.
That's about 6000 interviews the school has to organise. Prior to using the software, this was done manually online or by pen and paper.
Edval has developed an approach to scheduling parent interviews, which operations director Chris Cooper said was causing a small revolution in schools.
Parents register their time and teacher preferences then the school runs a complex algorithm to allocate all interviews.
Parents can then print, or modify interview times online if desired.
Bowral High deputy principal Nic Morris said the Edval method has been a breath of fresh air.
