Bradman Oval in Bowral was swamped by 2115 people on Saturday afternoon (May 7) to claim a new world record for the most people holding umbrellas aloft in the shape of Mary Poppins.

The existing world record is 1026 people and was set in Serbia in 2009.
After the record the participants took part in what is beleived to be the largest hokey pokey dance held in Australia, if not the world.
