The project was allocated $49,483 as part of the Local Small Commitment Allocation (LSCA) Program.
The $37.2 million program provides grants to the value of $400,000 to each of the state's 93 electorates.
It aims to support local communities and councils by funding projects such as capital works, services and programs, events, supplies and equipment, charitable donations, and playground and park upgrades.
"Many of the outlying villages of Wollondilly and the Southern Highlands have been forgotten by political parties for far too long," Member for Wollondilly Judy Hannan said.
"I was very pleased to support Wingecarribee [Shire] Council's submission to extend the existing cycleway network especially for the village of Burradoo which has a pathway network that does not connect to the train station."
The extension will provide improved access to the village's train station, and include the construction of a kerb ramp, carrying out earthworks and the potential adjustment of utilities.
Within LCSA, the Friends of the Hill Top War Memorial Hall has also been allocated $31,950 to maintain or upgrade the village hall's roof, and the Alpine/Aylmerton Rural Fire Brigade received $6900 for a ride-on mower to keep the station tidy.
