Road works in Moss Vale will look to see major water and sewer main works.
The works are scheduled to take place over an 800-metre section of Moss Vale's Throsby Street between Spring and Spencer Streets.
Wingecarribee Shire Council said it's to replace old pipes under the road.
"We kicked off some major water and sewer main renewal works along Throsby Street in Moss Vale," Wingecarribee Shire Council said.
"The works involve replacing the old cast iron water and concrete sewer pipes over an 800-metre stretch of the road between Spring and Spencer Streets.
"Contractors from Carve Earthworks are replacing the old pipes with modern polyethylene pipes including materials from Cromford Pipes in Moss Vale.
"We'll also be building the road pavement and storm water drainage.
"These scheduled works are being carried out to improve the efficiency of water and wastewater services to immediate residents."
The work beings on March 1, 2021 and hours of construction will be 7.00am to 5.00pm weekdays with traffic management arrangements in place during construction hours.
