The Hume Police District joined with the Goulburn Mulwaree Council on February 18 at Marulan South BP to engage with all road users, particularly heavy vehicle drivers, in relation to road safety on the Hume Highway.
On offer was a coffee and a chat with a copper about fatigue and other risks on our roads. Hume Highway Patrol officers were on hand to talk to drivers and encourage positive behaviour.
Officer in Charge of Goulburn Inspector Matt Hinton said "road safety was everyone's responsibility".
"We all want to go home safe at the end of the day," he said.
