It was a dramatic finish with Team Neutze coming from 17-10 down to snatch a draw.
Team Staples had a 15-8 lead after 11 ends and increased the lead to 17-10 after 13 ends.
But in a gripping finish Team Neutze fought back to clinch a 18-18 draw.

Russell Fahey, Russell Knight and Kevin Stafford defeated Glenn Giese, Paul McInerney and Bill Meredith 31-6.
Eric Willacy, Paul Leverett and Josh Woodcock defeated Harold Wall, Tony Oakes and Steve Day 31-14.
Neville Tanner, Howard Lewis and Gordon Lewis defeated Graham Hunt, Brian Porter and Bob Edwards 18-11.
The experienced team of Russell Fahey, Russell Knight and Kevin Stafford were winners of the shield for 2021.

Bowls coordinator Carl Spilker has released the social bowls calendar for 2021 and the men's bowls 2021 competition dates.
All bowlers should check the notice board and write in their diaries the dates of play - please not to enter your name for events if you will be away.
Carl said he can not recall a more congested program. If there is no return of Covid restrictions, the bowls programs is very full.
Regarding the synthetic green, it is hoped for inspections and work to commence on January 18, while the Springett Green should be back in play by then, after renovations.
Meanwhile the Homann Green will be available for roll ups.
