There was no love lost in this very competitive match of the day.

In a reasonable tight first half Williams and Phillips held a 12-6 lead after eleven ends ,but they started finding form and shot to a 17-6 lead after 13 ends.
Then the pattern of the match started to change over the next five ends the Lewis combination started to click and they picked up 13 shots to take a 19-18 lead.
On the 19th end in what had become a desperately tight match Williams and Phillips picked up two shots to again take the lead 20-19.
On the 20th end the Lewis team picked up three shots to have a 22-20 lead.
The tension on the last end was electric.
There was even measuring for who had the shots.
After the measuring was done Williams and Philips had two shots which had the scores 22-22.
Disappointment showed with skipper Phillips who after having a 17- 6 lead was lucky to get out with a draw and did not wish to play a extra end.
If this would have been done, it would certainly have found the winner.
Well as they say 'all's fare in love and war'.
This match was filled with everything.
Who said bowls was a dull game?
