A new program is set to commence Thursday, July 23 at Glenwood in Sydney's north-west.
Try League officially started in 2019 following a successful pilot program the previous year and is designed to expose the game of Rugby League to culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities across Sydney.
The program has the backing of the NSW State Government and Federal Government and has already seen more than 200 children participate in programs in Blacktown, Parramatta, Minchinbury, Revesby and Fairfield.
NSWRL general manager - football, Barrie-Jon Mather said "The NSWRL has been working very hard with our clubs this season to get Rugby League back on the field and I'm delighted to also see the return of our Try League program."
"The program is a fun way to introduce children not familiar with Rugby League to the game and it's great to see some of our graduates now go on to sign up for clubs in their local communities," Mather said.
"Registrations are still open so I would encourage any child or parent who is thinking about it to sign up and give Try League a go."
"You'll learn all the skills of Rugby League, make some great friends and you could go on to become the next star of our game."
The Try League program at Glenwood will run for eight weeks and the NSWRL is working towards having more programs run in other locations this season.
The NSWRL has made the game safer than ever before in 2020 and is following the relevant government and medical advice regarding COVID-19.
