The Southern Highland Storm will be fielding sides for this shortened 2020 season and their youth will be getting their first taste of game donned in purple.
Highland Storm's director of football for the juniors, David Whetton said there will be competition.
"The Storm will be re-starting their popular internal Friday Night Footy games," Mr Whetton said.
"We're looking forward to welcoming back existing players and encouraging any new players wanting to play to get into contact the club."
Star storm recruit and lover of the game, under 9's Oliver can't wait to get out on the pitch with his mates.
"The thing I most like about Friday Night Footy is making big tackles," Oliver said.
"I also love scoring tries and playing rugby with my mates."
Friday Night Footy will be back for the U6, U7, U8 and U9 teams.
Games will be held at Loseby Park in Bowral for term three.
Games will be held from 4.15pm-5pm. The first game will be held on Friday, July 24, the first week back of school.
To ensure the kids are learning the game properly and getting into a system, players will train once a week along with playing Friday Night Footy.
"We want to ensure our littlest Storm players are kept safe and local," Mr Whetton said.
"This club is trying to make everything as easy on parents as possible.
"We also have a proven development model to ensure the kids are getting the right training ad kept safe playing the game they love."
