The team was made up of Graham Hunt, Ted McPhee, Chris Forrester and Bob Edwards.
Winning two matches to finish with four points plus 16 margin. The matches being played over nine ends and ten ends.
In the first Match they defeated Kel Limbrick, Richard Denman, John Cummins, Mike Holmwood 17-5 and in the second match defeated Mick Flynn's side 11-7.
In the second match the scores even at the half way mark but at the finish had a comfortable win. Two teams finished equal: 2nd Kevin Jones, Paul Rubie, Jim Starkey, Brian Payne with two wins four points margin 11. Peter Watson, Carl Spilker, Chris Eyles, Dougald Braithwaite two wins four points margin 11.
This is the second time skipper Bob Edwards has got his name on the shield. With family and friends in attendance, one thousand and ten dollars was raised for the cure for brain cancer foundation.
At the presentation Kendal Benton daughter of Chris spoke and stated the day stood out for all that dad stood for.
The mateship and sportsmanship for the sport he enjoyed in lawn bowls and on behalf of her mother Roz and family thanked every one for the support on the day.
