The heroes are feted, and rightly so, for saving people's lives. On Friday, March 6 at the Mittagong RSL club legends will rub shoulders with heroes.

On this occasion the legends are four cricketers. Each a household name-Ian Chappell, Doug Walters, Keith Stackpole and Lauren Cheadle. Each has flourished at the highest level.
The heroes are too many household names in the Southern Highlands - Arron Deegan, Peter Lockerbee, Michael Lawrence, Mark Sheehan, Peter Lawrence, Ian Coates, Lucy Breeley, Theresa Sheehan and Kerrie Johnson.
Heroes with a capital "H."
Legends armed with bats. Heroes armed with hoses. The heroes were deployed across the highlands encompassing the Wollondilly and Wingecaribee local government areas.
To do what? Save lives, save homes.
Heroes.

Table of Ten organisers have given the heroes a complimentary table and a percentage of all tickets sold.
