The newly formed Southern Highlands Storm held its first junior training session and the kids flocked at the chance to play some footy again.
An excellent amount of numbers showed up and Southern Highland Storm spokesperson Chris Shea said it will only get better.
"The first training session was really good," Shea said.
"Numbers were very high. All grades are getting really great numbers in registration.
"To get kids there in those sort of numbers, this early is very positive. We are well on the way to getting the registration numbers we're after.
"Considering that this was our first training run, we will be fielding all sides, in multiple teams."
For any kids that want to be a part of the new revolution that is the Storm, they still have time to sign up and get along to a training session. The earlier kids get into the system, the better it will be finding the right opportunity within a team.

"We have another training/registration day, Thursday, February 13," Shea said.
"The players can come down and keep signing up. The big thing coming up is our Friday night footy.
"That will be for our kids ages 11 and under. That will be kicking off on the February 14.
"We encourage the kids to keep coming and signing up, first game for Group 6 isn't till the end of March, but we like to get all the kids' numbers in now, so we can get all the teams ready."
When players sign up to the Storm, they will get decked out with club apparel.
There are government grants that help kids get into grassroots sports and clubs are encouraging parents to use them.
"Every player that registers gets decked out in club gear," Shea said.
"They'll get shorts, socks, club polo shirt, bag, water bottle and a mini footy."
