With three teams in a playoff for the club fours plate, it was the team Chris Forrester, Graham Hunt, Steve Day and Bob Edwards who came out in front with 23 shots against 12 shots.
Robin Staples, Harold Wall, Don Coleman and Mike Holmwood bowled 17 shots for and 21 against. Kel Limbrick, Rick Reynolds, Brian Payne and Mick Flynn had 18 shots for and 25 against.
Team Edwards defeated team Holmwood 8-7. Team Edwards defeated team Flynn 15-5.
Team Flynn defeated team Holmwood 13-10.
In social bowls the match of the day, Viv Gear, Brian Porter defeated Colin Stone, Owen Williams 26-23.
Gear and Porter did discover a return to form in the first half of the match leading 15-7. When Stone and Williams picked up five shots on the 14th end it gave them the lead 18-17.
But at the finish Gear and Porter won by three shots.
