The evening of Wednesday 13 November is a unique opportunity for corporate and cricket communities to come together and honour the most skilled and principled players of our time.
This year we are very proud to announce that Pakistan's great bowler, Waqar Younis, is the 2019 Bradman Honouree.
Waqar has made a significant contribution to his nation's cricket history as a player, coach and mentor of young players.
Our Patron, the Hon John Howard OM AC, will acknowledge the achievements and legacy of our Honouree. He will also pay tribute to the late Bob Hawke AC GCL.
Established in 1987, The Bradman Foundation is a non-profit charitable trust, set up with the full support of Sir Donald Bradman AC.
The aim is to promote cricket as a valuable cultural and sporting force within the community.
A special focus of the Foundation is the development of youth through cricket, reflected by opportunities offered to young cricketers including university scholarships, sponsorship of youth cricket, including the
Steve Waugh Cricket Coaching Clinics The Bradman Foundation's 'Coverdrive' program engages students with disabilities, through sport based activities, social skills that flow into every aspect of their life.
Participating students have lots of fun and also learn to play together fairly, share, make decisions, be positive, co-operate and have a go.
With a sporting star studded event predicted, the event retains the successful format of previous years, commencing with pre-dinner drinks on the hallowed turf of the SCG followed by a gourmet dinner in the Bradman-Noble Room.
