Hugh Hansen aka Mr Cricket can't wait to represent the blue army in the up coming season.
"I'm looking forward to the first ball I face as a batsman," Hansen said.
"I also want to score my first boundary."
Hansen like other cricketers have their heroes and he wants to follow in their footsteps.
"I love watching cricket on TV. I like seeing my Aussie heroes like Mitchell Johnson and Michael Clarke play against England."
A natural batsman, Hansen will hone his craft now and hopefully make a career out of his skills one day.
"I love to bat and being able to play cricket with my mates every weekend," Hansen said.
"I would love to play test cricket for Australia and represent my country all over the world. I have had this dream since I was very little."
Before he's hitting sixes for his country, Hansen will be slogging them out the park for Bowral and he has some dreams for this season.
"I hope to be constantly learning about the game and improving my skills as a young cricketer," Hanson said.
"I am also looking forward to playing and having fun with my old team mates as well as developing new friendships with new team members.
"One of my goals this season is to score my first century. I would also like to improve my drives both off the front and back foot. Also, improving my wicket keeping by taking more catches and stumping more batsman."
