Edmonds and Edwards had a three shot start and for the first period of play capitalised on this going to a 7-2 lead. After 11 ends Edmonds and Edwards had a slender 13-12 lead.
The features in the first half of the match being the good draw shots by both teams.
Edmonds and Edwards surprised most supporters by holding a 19-14 lead with four ends to play.
But ambitions of winning the game fell flat when Flynn and Boyers picked up ten shots on the last four ends to go into the final by four shots.
In the other semi-final Peter Watson and Peter Morales defeated Kevin Jones and Josh Woodcock 19-17.
Watson and Morales received a seven shot start and to be fair this got them over the line at the finish.
After five ends Watson and Morales had a 10-2 lead.
Those watching the match thought this may have been to much lead for Jones and Woodcock to peg back, but Jones and Woodcock returned to form and at the half way mark they had a 12-11 lead.
There was plenty of hot shots for the rest of the match by both teams, but Watson and Morales held on for a two shot win putting them in the final.
