Lifeline, Moss Vale is located at 308 Clarence Street, Moss Vale. Lifeline is a not-for-profit organisation and relies on community support. The Moss Vale Shop requires retail assistants.
The volunteer will assist the store manager to receive, display and sell items in the store, provide quality customer service, maintain a clean, tidy and safe store and assist in maintaining stock levels.
The volunteer will require good communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and have a friendly and helpful manner.
All training will be provided. The shop is open during normal business hours and shifts can be arranged to suit.
Southlands Care Op-Shop is operated by Connect Christian Church Inc., and are located in Willow Drive, Moss Vale.
The volunteer is required to assist with sorting and hanging clothing, and sorting bric-a-brac as stock arrives.
Volunteers will require good interpersonal and numeracy skills, basic common sense and a good sense of humour.
All training will be provided. The shop is open from 10am-4pm Monday to Friday and shift hours can be arranged.
St Vincent de Paul Centre located at 22 Bowral Road, Mittagong, is a Catholic charitable organisation which has been helping Australians for more than 150 years.
The volunteers usually begin at the receiving and sorting station, then may progress to serving customers, cashier duties and valuation of goods.
Volunteers need to be physically able to handle goods donated. Common sense, self motivation, good communication skills and a caring attitude is all that is required. A perfect position for the over-55 age group.
