Bowral 1st grade defeated Blacktown Workers and prevented any chance of them winning the pennant.
Blacktown had been running a clear second and needed to win there last two matches to win the grade 2 title.

I don't know what tablets Bowral were on but they brought Blacktown undone.
Alistair McGhee, Dennis Beatty, Paul Leverett and Mick Armstrong defeated Blacktown 28-15.
After eight ends Bowral had a very slender lead 8-7.
Bowral then took hold of the match regularly having bowls in the head to take a commanding lead 19-7 after 12 ends.
Blacktown then started to put a fingerprint on the game and came back strongly to trail 21-14 with four ends to play.
Bowral put to bed any ideas of a further come come back by Blacktown by winning two of the last three ends to run out 13 shot winners.
Ashley Lewis, David Coltman, Nathan Boyers and Josh Woodcock lost to Blacktown 19-15.
Blacktown had the better of the first half leading 11-6.
After 18 ends Blacktown looked to be on their way to victory leading 18-10.
Ashley Lewis who only had surgery four weeks ago and found it hard going , then found some form to help Bowral close the gap to 18-15 with one end to play.
Blacktown by the end of the match finished winners by four shots in a tight game.
Noel Fraser, Jim Neely, Carl Spilker and Mick Spong lost to blacktown 19-14.
Blacktown had a 11-2 lead after nine ends and had put the screens up to Bowral who just could not convert bowls into winning shots.
Bowral was able to display much better form in the second half of the match and only fell five shots short.
