Playing six fast paced, 10 minute games to make it to the finals, teams could be excused for being a little short of breath. But the Reds over came that to earn themselves a 3-0 victory.
Moss Vale Reds coach, Jodie Iliani said the competition environment bought out the best in all the players.
"It made the games much harder and more open," Ms IIiani said.
"The players had to just go for it due to the limited time of games.
"Players had a bit more pressure on them because they had to perform quickly. There was no time to form a strategy. They got on the field, played their hearts out and did the best they could."
The win wasn't what the coach was most proud of on the day, it was how her team acted in such a respectful and professional way.
"In the final, all the teams shook hands and wished each other well," Ms IIiani said.
"All the players from both sides knew each other and that's the beauty of the Highlands. It was great sportsmanship, even when it came to receiving their medals everyone was very respectful. Everyone thanked the referees. They all played really well."
The excitement of the finals had Iliani so swept up in the moment, she didn't even notice the results.
"I was so excited in the final, I didn't even pay attention to the scoreline as we were having such a great time," Iliani said.
"Everyone was congratulating one another, I love that. That's what makes those tough days worth it."
"It was a fabulous game as both teams were evenly matched. Hill Top also managed the day wonderfully."
Club secretary of the Hill Top Soccer Club, Craig Napper couldn't have been happier with how the day turned out.
"From a planning point of view, it's probably the biggest day of the year," Mr Napper said.
"It's also the biggest day of the year for our canteen. Having 14 teams playing at the park, in one day, with four teams in action on two fields, it's a massive day.
"We couldn't have done the day without the referees that the HSA made available to us. There's seven rounds and two pools, it was very close competition. In one of the pools, there were three teams tied for second and I had to do a goal count back to see who advanced.
"It's a hard days work but absolutely worth it."
