Our reserve grade team couldn't reproduce their great effort last weekend against Oakdale as they went down to City reserves by 34-4.
It was a scrappy affair, and the City boys looked well drilled and ran straight all day to keep the points racking up.

There was plenty of good efforts amongst our team, with Lachie Maclean taking three points for doing everything well.
Cameron Grey got two points for excellent running and brave defence, and Duncan Stone once again looked like he is ready to play this level every week with strong running up the middle.
Hughie Parker also put the hard yards in close to the ruck to suggest we'll see him in this grade several more times this year.
Camden will be a harder obstacle this Sunday and the boys will have to rediscover their Oakdale form from last week to make a game of it. Keep your heads up, and we'll keep getting better.
The Dragons first grade won a hard fought game against Campbelltown City Kangaroos this afternoon by 10-6. The Roos went up 6-0 after about 10 minutes before the game got bogged down with plenty of hard defence from both teams.
Brad Larter scored before halftime (unconverted) and they went to the sheds 6-4 down.
Greg Davis looked a class above in possession, and he was rewarded with a superb try, converted by Jesse Mauger to take Mossy out to 10-6, which ended up as the final score with some heart-stopping defence on the try line in the last two minutes to secure the win.
Former Dragons, Mikaera Ormsby and Sammy Aiga went out of their way to wind up the boys in red, and did it quite well, as well as actually playing some good football in between.
Big efforts from Joel Tubbs with 23 hit-ups, with the back three coming in to share the load.
In a slowish game, Brad Meuleman topped the tackle count with 30, closely followed by Joshua Uta with 28 including some very big hits.
Brad Larter deserves a mention for some great cover defence. It wasn't always pretty but the squad will remember how their hard work for each other on our try line got them through to make it two out of four wins.
For his big effort in attack, Joel Tubbs took three points this week.
He attempted to take on every member of the Roos, Captain Brad got two points and Jesse Mauger took the single point for some outstanding defence against Big Sammy as well as some exciting runs up the line.
Teams will face off with Camden this weekend and honour and pay tribute to the mothers of players and volunteers, who allow us all to give away many hours of family time each week for nine months a year.
