Pie Time will take over the Southern Highlands for the month of June.
Destination Southern Highlands have worked hard to ensure that 2019's event is the best one yet with a series of mouth-watering pie themed events, festivals, tours and activities throughout the month.
Group manager of tourism and economic development at Destination Southern Highlands, Steve Rosa, is thrilled with the quality of the event this year.
"Pie Time 2019 will offer visitors to the Highlands pies, pies and more pies. It will include some delectable new ingredients including the Sweety Pie & Bubbles Trail - the perfect match of local sparkling wines and pies," said Mr Rosa.
The event will also feature a special ticketed tour of Fairground Follies in Bowral.
Owner, Craig Robson, will open up his enormous warehouse of antique mechanical and musical attractions including mechanical organs, instruments and fairground attractions such carousels, swing boats and wagons. The experience will include a pie-fueled morning tea.
A two-day pie festival called PieFest will be held at the Bong Bong Picnic Racecourse on June 29 to 30.
PieFest will celebrate all things pies, with local wine, beer, cider and spirits from the Southern Highlands.
An array of pie makers, bakers, chefs and producers will orchestrate numerous events throughout the month such as cooking classes, tours and pie trails.
Pie Time will run from 1-30 June.
