Coach for the Reserve Grade side, Billy Hayward said getting the win over Moss Vale, everyone wants those bragging rights.
"Mossy haven't had a side in the reserve grade in a while, so we haven't played them in a while," he said.
"There's a few former player on the Moss Vale side this season that are still great friends to the club. There will be a lot of mutual respect there.
"We're very excited for the game. The boys have trained really well over the last month.
"We had a very good hit out at Berry, so I can't ask anything more of them."
The rivalry between Moss Vale and Mittagong has been happening long before U18's coach, Cameron Arlington's time.
"Growing up as kids, one of the main rules we were told was to not lose to Moss Vale," Arlington said.
"It's been in the Mittagong blood our whole lives. You always want to start off with a win, especially against Mossy.
