For the first time ever, Wingello have all their cricket squads in their respective grand finals in the same year.
Wingello's first team faced off with Hill Top Northern Villages Cricket Club at Bradman Oval and over came the recently returned to the competition team.

There was magic in the air at the iconic Bradman Oval and it all seemed to start off on the right foot for Wingello as they won the toss and elected to bowl.
Hill Top's Tim Goldfinch and Dean Webb put in work for the team as Goldfinch scored 59 runs and Webb made 29 runs to try and put the group in a commanding position.
The bowling attack roared into gear for the Tigers with Dale Wellington taking 4/52 off 10 overs and Corby Mander taking 5/4 Off 5.2 overs in a wonderful display.
Hill Top were all out for 125 off 41 overs. With Wingello taking to the pitch, the day was nearing an end but they wanted to make a dent in the total and head into day two with momentum. The Tigers ended day one 6/91.
The beginning of day two saw Grant Pike scoring 66 runs and was part of a 37 run last wicket partnership with Jeremy Tonks.
Wingello were all out for 153 off 63 overs. The Tigers took a first innings win with a lead of 28 runs.
The battle was set and Hill Top's second batting innings saw Simon Reid come out swinging, getting a half century and scoring 54 runs. Teammate, Hayden Wallace also scored 40 runs and ended not out.
Hill Top declared 7/143 off 20 overs, with a lead of 115. Wingello's, Arron Deegan took 4/33 off six overs in a marvelous display of bowling.
In order to survive, Wingello needed 21 overs to win the game and progress to the grand final.
Tiger's batsman, Andrew Benson came out and scored a very handy 20 runs.
Wingello were 2/44 at the end of the day's play and earned themselves a spot in the grand final.
With all three grades making the grand final, this is a great achievement for the Wingello Tigers club.
