NSW Women’s Head Coach, Matt Evrard said the focus in pre-season has been on further skill development and fitness.
“We are preparing to play a different game to what we played in 2018 and that is due to the fact that we have a new-look squad and players who bring a different skill set to our team,” Evrard said.
“The aim of the trial is to test some of our combinations and also see how our new hopefuls step up at this level.
“What’s been exciting to see so far is that our leaders have stepped up and set the standards around the group.
“Also, from an on-field perspective, our forwards are more powerful and at the same time we have added a lot more speed to our backline.”
Kick-off is at 2 pm and admission is free.
