Saturday, December 15 at Bowral Bowling Club, the annual charity cup was won by Joel Hunt, Peter Watson and Don Coleman.

The trio won with a plus winning margin of 25 shots.
Second place went to Keith Edwards, Ann Brenning and Bob Edwards with three wins and a plus winning margin of 21 shots.
Third place belonged to Glen Giese, Graham Hunt and Robin Staples. They finished off with three wins and a plus winning margin of 20 shots.
An official report will be put together and a cheque given to the cancer appeal.
Carl Spilker won the Howard Lewis award.
Howard Lewis is a well known figure around the Bowral Bowling Club.
The award is an encouragement trophy for the most improved bowler of the year, especially novices for the Bowral Bowling Club men’s section.
Howard gave out his award and was anxious the award be made this year.
Next years award will commence from January 1, 2019.
Howard stated that, “Carl was showing all the attributes to becoming a top bowler.
“Carl is also interested in the club to help of promotion junior players and promoting the game of lawn bowls,” he said.
