Council crews have repaired the main break.
The water main is currently being charged (filled with water) and all residents should soon have full water restored.
Council crews will remain in the area carrying out water main flushing which will help remove any residual sediment which may have been stirred up as a result of the breakage.
Residents may find their water is slightly discoloured when their water supply is returned.
Council suggests residents open a cold water tap slowly (perhaps the garden main tap or laundry tap) to remove any trapped air and run the tap for a few moments until the discolouration clears.
Council also thanks the residents of Yerrinbool for their patience and cooperation.

Council crews are currently attending another burst water main- this time in Yerrinbool.
The 150mm water main is affecting Yerrinbool residents.
The majority of residents are expected to be be without water until the main is repaired.
Residents will either have no water or low pressure.
This follows incidents in both Moss Vale and Bowral recently where residents were left without water or with pressure.
A council spokesman said council crews attended multiple water main breaks each week.
“In many circumstances they’re able to re-divert water around the break while they repair it and in many cases residents wouldn’t lose water and would be unaware of a problem,” he said.
“However when a trunk main – or main line that feeds smaller pipes bursts – you have little option. It’s just been bad luck that over the last fortnight we’ve had some mains burst in high-profile locations.”
He said there was evidence to suggest there was a higher prevalence of breaks during seasonal changes and also during periods of heavy rain and drought.
“These conditions can cause the ground to move and contract. Pipes unfortunately don’t have much give in them and any ground movement can lead to a burst.”
Tree roots and human error can also be other causes of burst water mains.
