Good results in the White Horse Cup Pennants competition | PHOTOS

The White Horse Cup is Golf Illawarra's longest-running interclub match play competition.

The format is handicap match play and is for players with GA handicaps up to a maximum of 24.4.

The Highlands team came away with a convincing 5-1 win over Jamberoo. 

The game was played on a very wet and windy day for golf at Russell Vale Golf course for round three of division three for Golf Illawarra's White Horse Cup Pennants competition.

Highlands team and scores from the weekend are as follows:

  • Paul Broderick won five/three
  • Wayne Temporali won four/three
  • Colin Armstrong won four/three
  • Steve Sartori won five/three
  • Sean O'Brien lost by one
