Many quilts will be on display as well as craft items. Retail traders are invited to exhibit and sell their products. Money raised will go to Challenge Southern Highlands which provides training and employment for adults with disabilities. Admission: Adults, $6. Children under 12, free. 

2 – The Highlander heritage train. Saturday, February 24, 12pm.

Take this scenic day trip to the Southern Highlands and return via the Illawarra behind restored 1950’s diesel locomotive 4201. Alight for lunch at your choice of either Bowral or Robertson. Following lunch, the train will travel along the scenic Unanderra-Moss Vale railway line, down the Illawarra escarpment and return to Sydney via the South Coast and through the Royal National Park. 

3 – Bowling and music night. Saturday, February 23, 6pm. Bowral Bowling Club, 40 Shepherd Street, Bowral.

Festival favourites, 19-Twenty, will play a night of stomping blues-rock in the Highlands as part of their ‘Wipeout’ national tour. Doors open at 6pm. Angus Murray will perform at 8.30pm and 19-Twenty at 9.45pm. Pre-sale tickets are $25 via trybooking or the Club.

4 – Sunday Sessions Jazz. Sunday, February 25, 4pm. 210-224 Bong Bong Street, Bowral (corner of Bundaroo Street).

Enjoy light and airy jazz music while you dine on some of the best local produce the Southern Highlands has to offer. Entry is $15 and an affordable tapas-style menu will be available. Sunday sessions is a collection of musicians including David Seidel (double bass), Chuck Morgan (guitar), Ben Jones (sax and vocals) and Josh Morgan (percussion). Peter Locke will be featured on the piano.

5 – To market, to market.

- Moss Vale market at Moss Vale Showground, Illawarra Highway from 9am to 2pm.

- Berrima Schoolyard Market at Berrima Public School, Oxley Street, Berrima from 9am to 2pm on Sunday.
