Berrima District Sports Awards junior and senior winners for 2017

Each month the Berrima District Sports Award committee selects a junior and senior winner. Winners are chosen based on what they achieved in a particular sport during the specific month. At the end of each year, an overall junior and senior champion is selected, based off an annual resume of achievements. 

The 2017 monthly junior winners were: January: Kiara Rochaix – soccer, February: Maddison Barton – hockey, March: Maizy Evans and Riley King – mountain biking, April: Brielle Powell – equestrian, May: Lauran Balla – waterpolo, June: Dominic O’Shannessy – cricket, July: Bella Napthali – equestrian vaulting, August: Alliyah King De Wit – athletics, September: Sophie Baldwin – equestrian, October: Elizabeth Taylor – equestrian, November: Ciara Longsworth – athletics and December – Lucy Taylor – all sports.

The 2017 monthly senior winners were: January: Tirian McManus – cycling, February: Arabella McKenzie – rugby 7s, March: Meaghan Stanton – mountain biking, April: Eligh Morris – mountain running, May: Henry Yuill – rugby union, June: Darcy Cotton – rugby union, July: Kevin Stafford – lawn bowls, August: Jed Schofield – hockey, September: Daniel Rumsey – swimming, October – Charlie Dummer – cricket, November: Tim Ryan – golf, December: Melissa Perrine – ParaSkiing.
